Kat believes in the power of a body that feels safe. Her approach is one of curiosity, compassion and gentleness. Her personal experiences with chronic pain, trauma and stress first led her to teaching Myofascial Yoga Therapy, then to becoming trained in Hakomi (Somatic Psychotherapy Modality) and eventually to practice Massage Therapy.
She incorporates the nervous system’s state into treatments, in order to remind the body of its inherent draw towards wholeness. No matter what you might be dealing with in your life, she offers a place to land and breathe deeply. She practices Lymphatic Drainage Technique, Relaxation, Therapeutic, Functional Deep Tissue, Cupping, and Myofascial Techniques. All her treatments are Client led and Trauma Informed. She aims to cultivate safety in the treatment room as well as in the tissues she treats.
