Kim is a Registered Massage Therapist (2200hrs) and completed her training at MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy in October 2024. She is certified as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP™) and has previous certification from Maui School of Therapeutic Massage (720hrs) with a speciality in Lomi Lomi (with the Ho’omana Institute in Maui, Hawaii).
Kim possesses a profound curiosity about the intricate relationship between the body, mind, and spirit, acknowledging their significant interplay. She integrates a diverse range of methods into her practice to tailor the treatment to your individual needs cultivating safe and effective treatments. A focal point of her practice lies in the connective tissue (fascia), which envelops our bones, muscles, organs, nerves, and vessels, interweaving the various components of our entire body. Fascia, being the largest system in our body, is often affected by prolonged stress-related issues. Kim’s bodywork style adeptly addresses chronic underlying issues stemming from stress, trauma, and physiological holding patterns that may hinder functionality.
Kim is insured to offer individual body work sessions; she works within her scope of practice to provide touch based somatic (SE) treatments as a registered massage therapist. If you have worked with Kim as a client through her counseling practice, she will only be able to provide the service: SE for safe touch bodywork sessions.
Specialties: Trauma-Informed, Myofascial Release, Somatic Experiencing Safe Touch, Orthopedic Assessments & Lomi-Lomi
