I am a dedicated student of manual osteopathy at the Manual Osteopathic College of Canada (MOCC), with graduation set for September 2024. My healthcare journey began with a comprehensive five-year education in physical therapy at the Liaquat National School of Physiotherapy in Pakistan, which included a year of experience as a practicing physiotherapist. Additionally, I have spent nearly four years working as a Rehabilitation Assistant in Calgary, where I have improved my skills and deepened my understanding of the human body.
As a student manual osteopath, I offer services at a reduced rate, driven by the belief that true health is rooted in movement. Manual osteopathy is a versatile, hands-on therapy that benefits individuals dealing with both acute and chronic pain. I have had the privilege of working with athletes from various sports, including hockey and soccer. My practice also extends to treating conditions such as anxiety, depression, pelvic floor issues, and chronic headaches, including migraines.
My passion for manual osteopathy was ignited by a desire to help people live pain-free lives. This commitment has been strengthened through continuous study in pain science and evidence-based research. I utilize a range of techniques, including osteoarticular corrections, visceral manipulation, craniosacral therapy, and fascial release. Additionally, I integrate rehabilitation exercises, focusing on strengthening and stretching, to restore balance within the body and enhance overall well-being.
Outside of my professional life, I am an avid nature enthusiast, always seeking new mountains to climb—both literally and metaphorically. This love for the outdoors, combined with my passion for continuous learning, fuels my dedication to personal growth and enhances my ability to support my patients on their journey to better health.
