Reiki, a form of energy healing and natural medicine, is originally from Japan. The word Reiki comes from "Rei" meaing 'Spirit' or 'Higher Power', and "Ki" which is also called 'Chi/Qi', 'Prana' or 'Universal Life Force'.
Reiki has been practiced and used therapeutiacally for thousands of years. Reiki practitioners use a gentle technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which energy is transferred into the patient.
